PGI to open primary world school in State

The Pailan Group of Institutions and Pailan World School on Friday said that they would open a primary world school in the State after talks with the Government. Expressing his company's desire to mould local talent, especially young children in the State, chairman and founder of Pailan Group Apurba Saha said his company would like to produce more global icons from the State in future.


Addressing the media, parents and students at a conference on Global Education and Child Development at a city hotel here, Mr Saha said that under the new project every child would be given the right to basic education as part of the social obligation of Pailan Education Trust.


Renowned Australian global educationist Ken Jerman dwelled on the need for global education to promote job opportunities and enhance possibilities in education and employment. Professor Streamlet Dkhar advised the people to come out and avail the global opportunities offered by Pailan Group in the proposed education project.


Pailan Group of Institutions and Pailan World School has the distinction of being the largest global institute in the eastern region offering courses from KG to PG in a single campus. Pailan is the first institute in the eastern region to introduce the IGCSE, University of Cambrige curriculum.
